About Badir Global Connect national technolog Enterpreneurship Support Program

KACST\ BADIR, in association with UCSD Global CONNECT, is launching a nationwide program in October 2011 to accelerate technology entrepreneurship in the Kingdom.

Over the next 12 months, Global CONNECT and BADIR will be delivering a series of workshops and activities for both men and women technology entrepreneurs, in key aspects of technology entrepreneurship. At the same time, they will be training a selective number of well qualified individuals in the Kingdom to deliver similar workshops and activities in the future.

The program targets in its activities and events:

• technology entrepreneurs, both those who are already successful and those who are at a very early stage;

• investors and funders;

• university leaders;

• BADIR managers,

• service providers such as intellectual property attorneys, accountants, etc.
