Global CONNECT™

Global CONNECT™ is an applied research and technical assistance consultancy within the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). The experienced and diversified Global CONNECT™ team focuses on partnering with regions seeking to build innovation capacity, accelerate technology commercialization, and build global connections. Global CONNECT™ offers its activities and programs in more than 35 countries all over the world.

As a part of the BADIR Technology Entrepreneurship Support Program, Global CONNECT™ provides program support through analysis and selection of best practice policies and recommends plans for technology entrepreneurship support in the Kingdom.  More specifically, they are participating in discussions about increasing awareness of and gaining acceptance for a culture of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom through stimulating strategies of pioneering thought through connections and communication amongst related parties and business sectors.  In addition, they are involved with developing specialized training programs for skill development for: entrepreneurs, university and organizational entrepreneurship center supervisors, entrepreneurship program trainers, as well as representatives from technology marketing offices and more.
